Carolyn’s journey into Yoga began three decades ago, following a visit to a yoga session with a friend who wanted to try it.

Yoga provided a route into physical and personal well-being. Carolyn loved how it made her feel. It was time to tell everybody about it, so she decided to do a three-year teaching course with the British Wheel of Yoga. Carolyn obtained her Teaching Diploma in 2004 and the adventure continues, even as a teacher – Carolyn feels she learn something new at every class!

To develop her professional expertise, Carolyn is fortunate to have worked alongside some of the leading teachers, both in the UK and internationally, who have encouraged her always to question, explore new approaches and learning new techniques.

Carolyn is further qualified as a ‘Yoga for Pregnancy’ teacher, gaining professional certification from the British Wheel of Yoga in 2006; and, then in 2019, completed intensive training with the Yoga in Healthcare Alliance, which certifies her to teach the 10-week Yoga4Health Programme.

In addition to her Yoga teaching qualifications and experience, Carolyn graduated from the British School of Shiatsu-Do in 2015 with a Practitioner Diploma; and studied CranioSacral Therapy (CST1) with the Upledger Institute UK in 2014.

Carolyn is currently studying for a degree in Health Sciences with the Open University and is due to graduate in 2024.
The Yoga journey continues…
