YOGA FOR PARKINSONS
There is lots of research being carried out on the benefits of practicing yoga to help manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s. Some of these benefits include improving balance and flexibility, lessening slowness, helping to improve mobility and build strength. Breathwork can also help with tremours. Research suggest that physical activity can slow down the progression of the condition.
These classes consist of adapted gentle yoga that can be practiced on a mat or in a chair, breathwork and relaxation.
