Yoga for Adults

Yoga4all offers yoga classes in Basildon, Leigh-on-Sea, Hockley, Rayleigh and Southend-on-Sea.

Classes are a combination of traditional Hatha and Vinyasa flow, coordinating movement with breath. The class format includes Pranayama (breath control), Asana (yoga poses), relaxation and meditation.

Classes are suitable for all levels including beginners.

Chair Yoga

A class for adults who have difficulty with floor work.
A gentle form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support, this class also consists of some gentle floor work.

Yoga for Special Needs

Mat based classes appropriate for children 12+ and adults with special needs including those with learning disabilities, autism and Asperger’s. Some of the benefits of yoga practice include; improved strength and flexibility, improved balance and coordination, calmness and piece of mind, improved respiratory ability and capacity, improved focus and concentration.

Private bookings are also available for clubs, charities and schools.

Yoga for Kids

Yoga classes are made fun using story, songs, games and poses, helping children to develop important skills in a supportive and non-competitive environment. Classes are currently running in Leigh-on-Sea and all our teachers are experienced and DBS checked.

Healthy Backs

Yoga4all are offering a specialised twelve week course in Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, researched by The University of York, Department of Health and Sciences, York Trials and Arthritis Research Uk. Back discomfort is a common problem. Now there is an innovative evidenced-based way to improve back health and function. The ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs’ programme gently and progressively aims to help people get back to being more active again.​

Our holistic twelve week course is designed to teach how to self manage back problems for the long term, address stress management and relaxation skills, encourage an increase in physical activity – appropriate to the individual, teach postural awareness and mindfulness and aim for other, additional lower back health, positive physical and mental health outcomes. 

Yoga for Dementia

Yoga can be very beneficial for people living with dementia.  It helps keep them active in a gentle way including improving balance and co-ordination. Yoga also helps to reduce feelings of anxiety and depression and helps to promote relaxation.

Keeley offers group yoga sessions at care homes and day centres in in Basildon, Leigh-on-Sea, Hockley, Rayleigh and Southend-on-Sea.  Sessions are usually chair based incorporating gentle movement and relaxation, gentle massage is also part of the session. The sessions are adapted to the group,  one to one sessions are also available plus massage or reflexology only sessions.​ Keeley works alongside the Dementia Community Support team at Southend Council and is a member of the Dementia Action Alliance (DAA).
